SavvyCal alternative
The bill stops being a function of headcount.
Per-seat pricing has one property that matters more than the rate: the invoice grows every time the team does, automatically, whether or not the new person takes a booking that week.
A flat workspace price is a different shape. It is worse at the bottom, because a floor is a floor, and better everywhere above the crossover. The calculator below finds yours from your own numbers rather than from a table of somebody else's list prices.
The question underneath the search: At what team size does a flat price actually beat what I pay per seat?
Quote anybody else’s prices or features. Those change, comparison pages do not get re-read, and a table that is wrong by one tier is worse than no table. Every number below is either published Setupp pricing or a figure you type in yourself.
Setupp is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SavvyCal, LLC. SavvyCal is their trademark, used here to name the thing you are comparing against.
Hosts, not everyone with a login. Up to 50.

What is actually different
Three differences, and only one of them is the price.
Each of these is a fact about this product rather than a claim about another one, which is why each of them carries the tier it is on.
The slot is offered after the answers, not before.
Scoring on every plan including Free. Turning somebody away starts at Pro, $19 a month.A scheduling link is an open door. Anybody who finds it takes a slot, and the first time you learn whether they were worth an hour is when you are already in the hour.
Setupp puts the intake questions first and reads the answers before the calendar appears. If they fail the rules you wrote, they never see a time. If they pass, the booking is confirmed with a 0 to 10 score and the reasoning attached, so you walk in knowing which of the four meetings on Thursday matters.
The rules are yours and they are ordinary conditions on the fields you already ask about: company size, budget, whether they have a system in place today.
A second host is a setting, not a purchase order.
3, 10 and 50 hosts by tier. Round robin assignment from Team.Put a solutions engineer on the discovery call and, under per-seat pricing, that is another subscription every month whether or not they take a booking that week.
Here the plan includes hosts the way it includes calendar connections. Pro covers three, Team ten, Business fifty. You add one in settings and the invoice does not notice until you cross the number on your plan.
One invite goes out with every host on it, availability is intersected across all of their calendars, and the reschedule updates the same event rather than sending a second one.
The price steps twice and then stops.
Free, $19, $49 and $129 a month, per workspace.Per-seat pricing has one property that matters more than the rate: the bill is a function of headcount, so it grows every time the team does, and the growth is automatic.
A flat workspace price is a different shape. It is worse at the bottom, because a floor is a floor, and better everywhere above the crossover. The calculator further up finds yours.
Nothing is metered per booking at any tier, so a good month costs the same as a quiet one.
When not to move
Seven reasons to stay where you are.
Written by the people who would rather you did not sign up than sign up and leave in six weeks.
You are one or two people and the per-seat rate you actually pay is low. The calculator below will say so plainly rather than rendering a zero, and below the crossover a per-seat plan really is cheaper.
The reason you like your current tool is the scheduling experience itself: overlaying calendars, ranked times, personalised links. Setupp's booking surface is deliberately plain, because the interesting part happens before it renders.
You are one person with one calendar and a rate under the crossover the calculator found. A floor is a floor, and this one would cost you money.
Your booking links are printed on something. Business cards, an email signature template rolled out to two hundred people, a QR code on a banner. Setupp cannot forward somebody else's URL, so those links go dead when you close the account rather than redirecting.
You need a scheduler on iCloud today. Apple Calendar is written and tested against a stubbed server, and the integrations page marks it in development because it has never spoken to a real iCloud account. Google and Outlook are live.
Routing by territory, by round-robin weighting, by lead owner lookup in a CRM. There is round robin and there is collective assignment. There is not a rules engine that reads an account record and picks an owner.
You want everything in one place through a single automation platform. Outbound webhooks are on Business. A published Zapier app is not built yet, and the integrations page marks it planned rather than coming soon.
Before the arithmetic
The number that decides this is on your invoice
Every per-seat comparison on the internet is done against list prices, and almost nobody pays list. An annual commitment, a negotiated rate, a plan grandfathered from two years ago, two seats belonging to people who left in spring: any one of those moves the crossover by more than the difference between the tools. So the calculator below asks for your rate rather than assuming one, and it will tell you to stay when staying is cheaper.
The seat count worth entering is not the one on the invoice either. It is the number of people who would need a booking page here, which is usually smaller, because a flat workspace price removes the reason to be careful about who gets one. That cuts both ways and it is worth being honest with yourself about the direction: if you have been rationing seats, the real comparison is your current bill against a flat price with everyone on it, and the flat price wins earlier than the arithmetic suggests.
What the money does not decide is whether the booking surface is the one you want. Setupp's is deliberately plain. There is no overlay of your calendar against the booker's, no ranked suggestions, no personalised link per recipient. The work happens before the calendar renders: the questions run, the rules decide whether times appear at all, and what reaches your diary has already been judged. If the scheduling experience itself is what you like about your current tool, the crossover is the wrong question and the answer is stay.
If you do move
Five steps, a fortnight, and nothing switched off early.
There is no importer and this page is not going to imply there is one. What there is instead is a way to run both at once until you are sure.
- Step 1
Connect the calendar
Google or Outlook, in about thirty seconds. Existing events become busy time immediately, so nothing double-books while both tools are running.
- Step 2
Rebuild one event type
By hand. There is no importer, and for one event type there does not need to be: duration, buffers, notice, availability windows. Ten minutes, and Free covers exactly one.
- Step 3
Write the questions and the rules
The part that has no equivalent to migrate, because it is the reason for moving. Start with the two questions you always end up asking on the call anyway.
- Step 4
Run both for a fortnight
Keep the old link live and put the new one on one surface. On Free the score is advisory: it never turns anybody away, so you can see what it would have said before you let it act.
- Step 5
Move the link
When the scores are matching your read on the calls, swap the link everywhere and let the old tool lapse at renewal. Never mid-cycle: you have already paid for it.
Qualify leads before they book, not after
What you get, by tier
The tier every claim on this page sits on.
Read out of the entitlements table the product enforces, not retyped from the pricing page, so this cannot promise something the code refuses to do.

Single sign-on, an audit log and a public API are on the roadmap and are deliberately absent from this table rather than listed and crossed out, because a row nobody enforces is a claim nobody checks.
Before you switch
The questions worth asking of any scheduler, including this one.
Is Setupp cheaper?
Above the crossover, yes. Below it, no, and the calculator on this page says so rather than rendering a zero. At the representative rate of $12 a seat the crossover is 5 hosts; at a lower rate it is higher, and at a low enough rate there isn't one. The gap widens as you add hosts WITHIN a plan and resets when you cross into the next one: at $12 a seat, ten hosts saves $71 a month and eleven saves $3, because the eleventh is the one that moves you to Business. Drag the calculator across a step and you can watch it happen.
Can I import my existing event types and booking links?
No. There is no importer, and no way to forward a link that lives on somebody else's domain. Rebuilding one event type takes about ten minutes; the honest advice is to move one, run both tools for a fortnight, and only then swap the link everywhere.
Does the qualification gate work on the free plan?
The score does, the gate does not. Free collects the intake answers and scores every booking 0 to 10, and it confirms all of them. Declining somebody automatically starts at Pro. That split is deliberate: it lets you see what the rules would have done for a fortnight before you let them do it.
Which calendars does it work with?
Google Calendar and Outlook are live, with Google Meet, Teams and Zoom for the meeting link. Apple Calendar over CalDAV is written and marked in development on the integrations page, because it has not yet run against a real iCloud account and this site only calls something live once it has.
What happens to bookings already on my calendar?
Nothing. Setupp reads your calendar for busy time and writes new events; it never touches anything it did not create. Both tools can run side by side for as long as you want, which is what makes a two week overlap the sensible way to move.
Is there an annual discount?
The prices on the pricing page are per workspace per month and there is no annual rate to compare against. That is deliberate while the product is young: an annual commitment on a tool somebody has used for a week is a worse deal for them than it looks.
What counts as a seat here?
Nothing does. The plan limits are on hosts, which is the number of people who can appear on a booking, and the price does not change with how many workspace members can sign in and read the dashboard. A colleague who needs to see the bookings but never takes one is free.
Are you affiliated with SavvyCal?
No. Setupp is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SavvyCal, LLC, and SavvyCal is their trademark. This page states no prices or features on their behalf, which is why the calculator asks you for yours.
Stop taking calls you would have declined.
Connect a calendar, write the five questions you already ask on every call, and set the floor you already have in your head. About twenty minutes. Then never spend another Tuesday afternoon finding out about a mismatch.
