How it works

What happens when Microsoft Teams is connected

There is no second connection and no second consent screen. The Teams link is requested on the Outlook event itself, with isOnlineMeeting and onlineMeetingProvider, using the same app registration and the same token that created the event.

A personal Microsoft account cannot grant OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite at all. Rather than failing the booking, Setupp creates the event without a link and records that it did, so the meeting still exists and the operator can see why it has no Teams URL.

Event types whose location is not Teams do not request an online meeting.
